PRIVACY POLICY – PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA?

Your data are solely processed by our Company in accordance with Article 7A paragraph 1 (b) of Law 2472/1997, in order to fulfill your order, and in no way will they be shared, disclosed or sold to third parties, unless the procedure laid down in the law for the removal of confidentiality is initiated (Law 2225/1994), or any obligations arise from the national implementation of the Directive 24/2006 or the Law.

WHAT KIND OF PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?

- BOHBO may collect the following personal data from the users of its website through the various contact forms thereon: name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number, date of birth, sex and credit card details or account number (provided by the customer in case of a merchandise return). Such contact forms may used when the user visits the online store, creates an account at the online store, subscribes to our newsletters, places an order, or participates in BOHBO’s special offers or other promotional activities.

- In addition, BOHBO collects information about its users’ navigation at the online store in order to provide better personalized service to its users and to continually improve its online presence. More specifically, when you visit our online store, the following items will be stored for technical reasons in so-called 'log files':

•          the IP address of the computer you use to access our website
•          cookie data
•          the web page from which you visit us
•          the pages within our site you visit
•          the date and duration of the visit
•          the type of browser the visitor uses
•          the operating system of your computer

(Apart from being aggregated and stored on our online shop’s management platform, most of the above data is also aggregated and recorded by the GoogleAnalytics data management platform, which is linked to our online store as an add-on [plug-in] and enables our company to better manage and utilize the data collected in order to provide improved services to our visitors. On behalf of BOHBO it is confirmed that the data collected through this platform are only accessible by our company, and only our company or its affiliates have the right to manage and exploit this data. Finally, it is noted that plug-ins are subject to the privacy policy of the respective platform and not to our Policy.)

All personal data is provided by the person concerned, with the exception of contact details which may be given by friends or relatives, following permission they have obtained from the third party concerned, in the following cases:
 
a) To send a gift. In particular, the name, address and telephone number of the designated recipient are recorded.
b)To share their favorite products (Wish list), which are stored in our online store and can be managed through their account. In particular, the e-mail address to which a user sends their wish list is recorded.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF OUR PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA?

Personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

- Management and processing of the subscription to the online store. Subscription refers to a user’s browsing profile of the BOHBO online store. This profile contains the subscriber’s personal information and navigation information as well as the products displayed or added to the cart, the categories of the e-shop they visited, their location to evaluate their preferences and / or personal interests with the purpose of providing to the individual customer the content, such as offers, services and products that best fit their profile.

- Management and processing of online purchases. We use the customer's personal information to process and deliver their order and to notify them by email about the status of their order or any modifications to their order.

- Management and individual distribution of information about exclusive offers, latest news and personalized information tailored to the profile, interests and needs of the customer via e-mail. Sending this information means processing the user’s profile which includes the use of personal data, purchase history, and navigation information in the online store to evaluate personal preferences in order to offer them the commercial communications that fit their profile.

FOR HOW LONG DO WE STORE PERSONAL DATA?

BOHBO will only store your personal data for as long as it is reasonably necessary to take into account the need to provide answers to issues raised or to resolve problems, to make improvements, to activate your services, and to meet the conditions required by current legislation. This means that BOHBO may store a user’s personal data for a reasonable time even after the person has stopped using the BOHBO services or has stopped using the online store. At the end of this period, personal data will be deleted from all BOHBO systems.

WITH WHO DO WE SHARE PERSONAL DATA?

The personal data of the person concerned may be conveyed to the following recipients:

-Public Authorities and Organizations when required by the financial and labor regulations, the social security regulations or other applicable regulations/legislation.

We may incorporate into our online store a social media application programming interface or plug-ins of social media, including Facebook and others. Plug-ins can transfer information about you to the corresponding Plug-in platform without any action taken by you. This information may include the user ID of the platform (IP), the site you have accessed, and others. Interaction with a plug-in will transfer information directly to the social network of that Plug-in, and this information may be visible to others using this platform. Plug-ins are subject to the privacy policy of the platform, and not to our Policy.

BOHBO will in no case sell the customer data to third parties.

HOW DOES BOHBO PROTECT PERSONAL DATA?

The online store uses information security techniques such as access control procedures and encryption mechanisms, all of which aim to prevent unauthorized access to the information and guarantee confidentiality. In order to achieve these goals, the user accepts that BOHBO will acquire data to verify access control.

We do not intend and do not wish to collect any personal information concerning children under the age of 13.
